Can you buy a home with income $ 40kA years?

Is it reasonable to try to buy a house when we make $ 40,000 a year? We live in Alaska, has no debt and our credit is good but only have a small amount saved payment (about $ 10k). What size a loan can expect to get? Thanks for any advice.

If you can find a house for $ 80,000, for sure.
