Alaska Fishing Lodge – Bettles Lodge
Often times we hear people talking about fishing Alaska at certain times of year. While that may be great for many peoples personal schedule, your trip to Alaska does not have to limit the time windows, which is why one years of Alaska Fishing Lodge like Bettles Lodge is ideal for many fishermen.
Bettles Lodge has the appearance of an Alaska Fishing Lodge of the past, which can be attributed to the lodge of the story. Bettles was built in 1948, but there is no need to worry about your stay. Although the main house has to look beautiful, rustic old Alaskan, has been completely updated along with the 18 units that are available. In fact, if you stay in one of the houses on the second floor you will find a pool table in the playroom.
You Bettles Lodge found to be a full-service Alaska Fishing Lodge, when the results with lots of amenities such as fish and game licenses, one at the store, USGS maps and rental equipment. If refueling is in your mind, you can also buy fuel for aircraft, Coleman at Bettles. For facilities outside Water is not a restaurant, tavern, gift shop and even a liquor store. In hotel rooms feature satellite TV, wireless Internet, and course of telephone service.
The hostel is located in Bettles, Alaska, 180 miles as the crow flies from Fairbanks. The city is known as the city small built in Alaska. A strange thought when you consider that there are about 30 residents in Bettles. This position also serves as a starting point of the gates of the Park Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, Brooks Range in northern Alaska, and Kanuti Wildlife Refuge.
As you can imagine, instead, there are many things to do, and fish. Flight seeing, snowshoeing and cross country skiing in winter, gold leaf on a farm, and view the Aurora Borealis in the months of August and September.
In total, there many reasons why a stay at Bettles Lodge should be on your list of Alaska Fishing Lodge. To schedule a tour, keep in mind that the area is accessible by boat during the summer weather and even snow machine, and is accessible by air. Be sure to bring your camera, as this will be a journey filled with great scenery and wildlife.
