Little Squaw potential Oro Grande

It is rare that one finds a counter mining company, which had a board of directors and management team the caliber and pedigree of Little Squaw Mining Company Gold (OTCBB: LITS).

President, Richard Walters, besides being a certified professional geologist with the American Institute of Professional Geologists and a qualified person as defined in National Instrument 43-101, was also founder, chairman, president and chief operations precursor Yamana Yamana Resources Inc. Gold Inc. (TSX: materials) between December 1994 and March 2000. He also serves as director and executive vice president of Marifil Mines Ltd. (TSX.V: MFM).

Rodney Blakestad, vice president of exploration, is in his thirty years as a geologist working with Columbia Metals Corp. (TSX.V: COL), Nevada Star (now Pure Nickel – TSX: NIC), Robex Resources (TSX.V now Robex Gold -: RBX). He is credited, in part, with the discovery 4 million ounces of Fort Knox gold mine, now property of Kinross Gold Corporation (TSX: KGC).

Robert Pate, corporate vice president of operations, is also a veteran of 30 years of mining operation and exploration of minerals that have complied with Yamana Resources, Freeport copper (a division of Freeport McMoran – NYSE: FCX) Coeur d'Alene Mines (NYSE: CDE), and Atlas Precious Metals was the chief geologist in gold mine in Nevada Attorneys. In Freeport, he was a senior supervisor Indonesia Grassberger huge copper / gold mine.

The board of directors, William Schara is the President, and was the CFO of Minera Andes Inc. (TSX: MAI) a Vancouver-based company to bring a new gold and silver mines in production in Argentina. He is currently the CEO of Nevoro (TSX.NVR), and is also an alumni Yamana Resources.

The remaining directors have had seasons in conjunction with Kennecott Corporation (now a division of Rio Tinto PLC – NYSE: RTP), Bond International Gold, Copper Range Corp, Newmont Mining (NYSE: NEM), Revett Minerals (TSX: RVM), and Pegasus Gold Corporation (now Apollo Gold – AMEX: AGT). Affiliations with professional associations related to mining are too numerous to mention here.

So the point is, I do not see Little Squaw as another front Mining OTC listed companies. This is a powerful, state-there, done-that the executive team with experience that is not likely to waste time in just under projects with the strong potential to become mines.

Which brings us to its flagship project, the mining district tracksuit. Note that previous employment administration and managers is very important for this property, in which there is a lot of history went through part of this team in the jurisdiction of MC – Alaska.

This package of 23 square miles of property has an above-average potential for underground, open pit mining operations and pleasure. Little Squaw owns 100% of the land, and an independent study of Pacific Rim Geological Survey has drawn comparisons in geology in tracksuit, among others, the 38 million ounces mine Sukhoi Log, Russia, 7.9 million ounces Natalka mine, also in Russia, the district of Juneau, Alaska, which produces more than 3 million ounces, Cape Nome, Alaska, which produced more than 5 million ounces of placer gold, and Treadwell, Alaska, which produces more than 3 million ounces of gold.

The main sources of hard rock in the district are the grain Chandala Mikado, Chandala-Eneveloe vein, vein of the Summit, and the Little Squaw vein. Other prospects in lode gold mining district vein Chandala include glass, Big Squaw damages Pioneer Prospect, Prospect Drumlummon, Vena accoutrement, accoutrements East Prospect, East prospect prospector, state-Tonapah vein, Vena tracksuit, Jupiter Vein, Bonanza Vein, Pallasgreen Claim, San prospect Marys Star claim group, Star claim No. 3 Vein-Duplex Triplex, Wildcat Prospect, Prospect Jackpot Claim Marmot, Occurrence bit Kiska, Prospect Pedro, and West Group avio claim. Most of these prospects are historical discoveries lead to significant values gold still remain unexplored.

This belt minerals as these deposits known as zinc mine Red Dog Cominco, the largest zinc deposit in world, and the prolific Ambler volcanogenic massive sulphide (copper and zinc) in the district, now overseen by Nova Gold. Prospectors discovered the area about 100 years ago, and recorded production of pleasure and mine is 84,000 ounces lode. There has been a significant but unknown number of unreported and the production of otherwise secret. Production registered, 76,000 ounces of gold or about 90 percent of the total recovered from placer deposits.

Trenching last year produced some excellent results include a structure 20 feet wide, assayed 10.58 grams per tonne. The drilling has crossed good grades and thicknesses, including 6.1 meters grading 4 grams per tonne gold, 9.1 meters grading 4.7 grams per tonne gold and 29 meters in just under 1 gram per tonne gold, each of these occur in three areas different.

An underground channel 180 meters long Little Squaw vein assayed an amazing 89 oz per tonne gold.

So there is much potential here exploration program and the company is getting a ramp for a busy summer.

In addition to this major project, Little Squaw also has Two other projects in the Western Hemisphere in the prolific gold producing regions that are politically safe. These include the Broken Hills West property, which is 15 miles north of Gabbs at the wave of the Walker Lane, Nevada, which has produced more than 50 million ounces of gold so far and Fogo de Pedra project in Goias state, Brazil, in the midst of a region of prolific gold mines.

But these will be the subject of future articles, so keep your eyes open for more information on this little known, but an exceptional opportunity.

Buried like a bone in a snowdrift, Balto never achieved the theatrical success it should have, but it’s worth digging up. The film is structured on the true tale of a lead sled dog, Balto, that brought a diphtheria antitoxin to the small town of Nome, Alaska. The film balances comedy, villany, and drama very well and the voice work is above average. Safe family viewing, as even the villain’s comeu…
