Im looking for places near Valdez in Alaska to help teens who have a tough time …?
Recently I've been trying to help a years of age living in Valdez 13, near Anchorage. And she has been going through a tough time. Need to leave your current living situation, but has no place to go. Can anyone give me the names of places in the area who can help out? Thank you for your help. Your information made me wonder how far this girl is out there. She said it took two hours for parents drive from Anchorage to Valdez for her. I ended up finding a Children's Services and contacted Valdez with them, told them what I have said, and helped as best they could. But now I feel like I have reported some falsehoods to them because they can no longer trust what this girl told me.
In fact, it's about a six hour drive to Anchorage to Valdez, but it may be easier to find services in Anchorage as it is much larger. And you do not mention what type of hard times, so you can not have the right answers for you, but I'll try.
