I want to move to Anchorage, Alaska during the summer. Any suggestions for seasonal work?

I went on vacation for two weeks in Alaska two years ago I've always wanted to go back to live for a few months during the summer. I have enough savings income for a roundtrip flight, but I need a job during your stay. I was thinking of Anchorage would have a lot of openings. Someone who lives in Anchorage know if I would be able to find a job quickly, while I was there? Also, do you think Anchorage is small enough so that I could ride my bike or take public transport to my workplace?

Most seasonal jobs here revolve around tourism and fishing. There are plenty of gift shops and hotels rent in the summer. You may also applied cruise and tour companies such as Princess, Celebrity Real and Kenai Fjords. Companies often offer accommodation too. There are some good Jobs Alaska Rail Road, but they get adopted pretty quickly. You can always get a job processing fish in Whittier, pays well, but the schedule is very long and the work is cold, dirty and exhausting.
